CORE VALUES

Our core values describe who we are and how we build. Whether we are building a discipleship group, a music group, or plant a new church, these core values are the essential foundation on which we make all decisions.

Christ Centeredness – Lordship

“We value Christ in us”

Because Jesus is “King of kings and Lord of lords,” we believe that wholehearted submission (Sub means to align under and mission means to His Mission), to submit means to align our lives and priorities under His mission.) God’s will and His Word is the starting point of the Christian faith and the foundation of all spiritual growth. Absolute obedience is essential to being a true disciple.

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him.”

Colossians 2:6

Reconciliation – Evangelism

“We value people”

Because God’s heart is to reach the lost, we seek to build churches primarily through evangelism-not transfer, through birth-not adoption. We believe that every born again believer is called to be a fisher of men.

“For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

“For the Son of Man came to seek and save what was lost.”

Luke 19:10

Growth – Discipleship

“We value maturity in Christ”

Because we are called to make disciples, our primary focus is ministering to people, not conducting meetings, administering programs, or building buildings. We place a high priority not only to see people saved but to grow them up to become all God wants them to be. We believe that every member is a minister.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28: 19,20

Leadership – Christ-Likeness

“We value Godly influence”

Because we are called to raise-up spiritual leaders, we prioritize leadership training and deliberately create opportunities for young potential leaders to develop their gifts.

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.”

2 Timothy 2:2

Family – Lasting Relationships

“We value lasting relationships”

Because the family is the foundational and validation for all ministry, we refuse to sacrifice our marriages and our children on the altars of temporal success. And because we believe God has called us to be spiritual family, we reject the idea of disposable relationships and choose to walk in love, respect and unity.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. . . Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children are a reward from him.”

Psalm 127:1,3

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

Ephesians 4:3
