EVERY NATION CHURCHES

Being a worldwide church planting movement, we expect that churches in different nations will have unique cultural expressions in their worship and ministry styles. While we celebrate and encourage cultural distinctions, all Every Nation churches must be:

1. CHRIST Centered Churches

Every Nation churches must be built on Christ, not a vision, a man, someone’s gifts, a doctrine, or experience.

“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ”.

1 Corinthians 3:11

“Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.”

Revelations 5:6

2. SPIRIT Empowered Churches

Every Nation churches respect and welcome the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

“Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for youand your children and for all who are far off- for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

Acts 2:38, 39

“And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 13:52

3. BIBLE Believing Churches

Every Nation churches see the Bible as the final authority for doctrine and lifestyle.

All scripture is God breathed and all is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…

2 Timothy 3:16

For all the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

4. DISCIPLE Making churches

Every Nation churches see discipleship not as one of many programs, but as the central church activity.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28: 19,20

“… and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas andSaul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.”

5. SOCIALLY Responsible Churches

Every Nation Churches priorities caring for the communities we live in as Christ would care for them. We purposefully and strategically unite with the body of Christ to take responsibility to be salt and light to our society.
